Seminars and CPDs

In Her Place provides a wide range of seminars and CPDs for clients and events, ranging from large online seminars to smaller bespoke training for teams and projects. These can be:

• In person or online.

• A general introduction to gender and the built environment or focusing on a specific subject such as transport planning.

• Keynote speeches or whole day seminars.

• Aimed at a specialist or general audience.

With her background in journalism and writing, Susannah is an excellent storyteller who can hold the attention of an audience while providing all the key information they need to develop more inclusive places and spaces for women and girls.

Recent work has included:

• Large online seminars for Active Travel England on gender and active travel, which reached the maximum capacity of 1,000 sign ups.

• Full day, in person training event for Northamptonshire Sport on how to create more inclusive parks and greenspaces for women and girls, and how to engage with them around this.

• Presenting for organisations including the National Trust, Sport Northern Ireland, Property Managers Association, Sport New Zealand and the University of the West of England.

• Individual CPD sessions for architects, developers and planning consultancies.

• Speaking at a wide range of events organised by organisations including Women in Planning, Women in Transport, Beyond the Red Line, PLACED, LCA and many more.
